Date with Justin part 2

17 Feb

Justin gave me the official tour of his mansion and I was freaking out on the inside.  It took a lot of strength to hide how impressed I was.  I couldn’t wait to get home and tell all my friends about everything.  After the tour he poured me a glass of wine and we sat by the fireplace and talked some more.

He loosened up after a glass of wine and his wall came down a little.  I got to see a little bit of the nerdy, shy guy behind all of his bravado. I was getting butterflies because I had a feeling a kiss was coming soon.  I was getting nervous and he so was he.  It was so cute, we were like 2 giddy teenagers.  Finally, he leaned in and kissed me and his style of kissing was a bit shocking.  It wasn’t bad at all but he was a confident kisser and I was expecting him to be a bit more timid and reserved.  He was biting my lower lip and even tried to kiss my neck.  I stopped him at that point because it was getting late and I didn’t want to give him the wrong idea.

He drove me home and we had a nice good bye kiss in the car.  I was smiling ear to ear when I finally got inside the house.  It was a really great date, I thought!  Then literally 5 minutes later he sent me a text saying “our combined awesomeness is nuclear”.  I laughed out loud when I read that, what a cute and VERY nerdy thing to say.

We chatted for a bit and made plans to see each other the next day.  I have a great feeling about this one!

Another Great Date!

10 Feb

Last night I went out with a real big wig named Justin.  I talked to him on the phone for 2 hours the night before our date which is so unusual for me because I hate talking on the phone.  Right off the bat I could tell he was very “Hollywood”  and beyond cocky.  Kind of a turn off usually but I saw behind all that fluff and he was actually really funny so I agreed to go out with him.

His bio:

-6’2, wears glasses (however he wore contacts on our date) and very nerdy/business man type.

-Graduated from Harvard.

-Involved with  politicians.

-Just moved here from the Hollywood Hills (not to be confused with West Hollywood because that is little more blue collar)

-Has very unique gray eyes.

-ONLY 29 years old (you almost never find a millionaire under 30)

-One of the first investors in Google.

He picked me up in his beautiful $125,000 BMW.  On our way to the restaurant I couldn’t help but be blinded by his very flashy, diamond encrusted Rolex.  I was beyond intimidated by him but I hid it very well.  I actually poked fun at him because of how borderline obnoxious he was with his money.

After dinner he was dying to show me his brand new house which was coincidentally down the street from the restaurant.  Very strategic planning I’m guessing.  I agreed and turned on my facebook tracker just in case he was crazy.

This place was ridiculous to say the least!  He had all the usual: guard gated, pool, hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, fireplace, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, etc.  The highlights were his MASSIVE his and her closets (his closets was bigger than my whole living and dining room combined), his and her hot tubs in the bathroom, putting green in the backyard, a huge guest house and even an elevator.

to be continued…..

Having a BAD Streak

27 Jan

I’ve recently been using facebook to try to find some eligible bachelors.  However, I haven’t had an luck lately.  Actually this last one was more like a nightmare than anything.

I found Joe on facebook just simply browsing around.  He claimed to be a former basketball star and in all of his pictures he seemed like he was rolling in money.  I’m talking yachts, Crystal champagne, VIP tables at the hottest clubs and he has a least 5 different Rolex watches (well I’m about 75% sure they were Rolex from what I saw).  He was adorable, light brown hair, blue eyes and really really tall 6’8 to be exact.  I’ve never even met anybody that tall!  We decided to meet for drinks at this trendy little bar.  I was a few minutes late but as soon as I walked in I recognized him right away.  We exchanged hello’s and hugs and I sat down.  Right away I noticed the HORRIBLE acne scars he had on the side of his face.  His teeth were beautiful so I tried to keep my eyes focused on them.

Everything was going great until he went to pay for the drinks and the worst thing in the world happened!!!!  His credit card declined!  I was so embarressed for him I really didn’t know what to say.  I just took out my card and paid for the drinks.  We sat there for another 20 minutes and he excused himself to the bathroom.  Two minutes later I got a text message from him say “I’m really bad at awkward good byes but it will never work out between us.  I left goodbye”.  My jaw dropped to the floor, my face turned bright red and my eyes filled up with tears.  I couldn’t believe this just happened!

This date was a nightmare!  Not only did I end up paying for our date but then he ditched me in the end anyways.  Note to self NEVER date basketball guys.

Could He Be A FAKE?

12 Dec

I set up my new online dating account on Wednesday and seriously an hour later I was talking to Travis.  Travis is hot in a bad boy kind of way.  He looked and talked like the total Alpha Male type.  I was so giddy talking to him for some reason.  He said he owned a couple of nightclubs in the city and had some real estate investments.  I was definitely excited to hear that he owned nightclubs because I love to dance.  And if I were to date the owner I’m sure I would be treated like royalty there, so exciting!

Travis said we should meet up for lunch on Friday.  I’m not a big fan of lunch as a first date because you usually can’t drink (unless you want to look like a total lush) and the date usually ends after you eat.  He text me Thursday and said to meet him at the mall food court for lunch.  I couldn’t believe what I was reading!  The mall food court was he being serious right now.  I don’t want to sound stuck up but I haven’t been to a mall food court since I was probably 16 years old.  I messaged him back suggesting we go to an actual restaurant instead.  He said ok but didn’t sound too happy about it.  This guy owns night clubs so he has to have money I don’t understand what the problem is here.  Red flag maybe?

Friday an hour before we were supposed to meet he calls me to cancel the lunch date!  He was really short with me and didn’t really give a reason.  He didn’t even offer to reschedule.  I personally think he was a fake but regardless there was definitely something off.  I guess its back to the drawing board!

Saying Good Bye to Mike

7 Dec

I decided today was going to be the day I was going to end it with Mike.  All morning I’ve been pacing around the house back and forth picking my brain.  I even composed an entire email explaining why I couldn’t be with him.  Right before I hit send I deleted the whole thing because I felt so guilty doing it by email.  I had to give him the respect of doing it in person.  I would never want somebody to break up with me via email, post it, letter or text.

I finally grew a pair and picked up the phone to call him and ask him to meet me at a local cafe.  It was a very casual place, usually empty and the perfect place to break up with somebody.  When he walked through the door I almost changed my mind because he looked really good.  He was dressed in a tailored, black suit, my favorite.  When he sat down I got really nervous and for some reason I started to blush.  I finally spit it out and told him I couldn’t see him anymore.  He seemed a little shocked and confused.  I told him that I didn’t like how he talked to the waitress and no matter what I did I couldn’t get it out of my head.  He tried to explain himself but in the end knew I wasn’t going to change my mind.

We both wished each other luck, shook hands and said our good byes.  What a perfect break up I thought.  If only every break up was this easy.  I’m so happy that I finally broke up with him!  I can’t wait to start meeting some new rich men.  I’m going to open up an online dating account tomorrow.

Let the Best Woman Win

5 Dec

Online dating can be fun but its also very competitive.  Some of these woman are professionals and have been doing it for way longer than I have.  You have to be at the top of your game to win the heart of your perfect rich guy.  Its the survival of the fittest so to say.

Lets use the situation with Tom as an example.  We had a great time but I still haven’t heard from him.  It has been almost a week now!  “Three day rule” went out the window a few days ago.  I don’t really like to think about this but I might not have been the only girl Tom was seeing.  He must have liked the other girl more than he liked me.  I get a little sad when I think about it but it must be true.  Why else would he not make an effort to see me again?

I know that looking good is only half the battle but sometimes you need to just pamper yourself.  I”m going to get a facial, massage, manicure/pedicure and haircut this week.  Trust me I really need it and I haven’t spoiled myself for awhile.  When you feel good about yourself, confidence oozes out of your pores, your eyes light up and men notice these things from a mile away.

Not only do you have to make yourself look beautiful ouside but you also have to work on your inside too.  Being pretty will only get you so far.  The smarter you are the better your chances are of getting that perfect guy.  I love to read!  I’m a bit of a sucker for romance novels but for every fiction book I read I make myself read 2 educational books.  Anything from politics to stocks.  Not the most entertaining stuff in the world but it will definitely feed your brain.

Time to MOVE on

30 Nov

I’ve been seeing Mike pretty regularly since the beginning of October but I’ve been having doubts lately.  It first started 2 weeks ago when he went off on a waitress when she didn’t give him the extra fork he requested (don’t ask me it must be some weird OCD thing).  Then again last week, I accidentally left my phone at home one day and when I got home later I had about 7 messages from him.  This behavior was not acceptable!  I think he sensed that I was getting annoyed so he sent me flowers but that really didn’t help.

Not only that but I’ve been think a lot about Tom.  I had such a great time with him but he still hasn’t asked me out on another date.  He actually never even wrote me back after I said “I had a good time as well. How about Saturday?”.  Sometimes I just don’t understand men.  I know one thing for sure I will NEVER chase a man no matter how great he is.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about whether or not I should continue seeing Mike.  My gut tells me I need to break up with him.  I definitely starting to see some major red flags.  I really liked him in the beginning but now I just can’t get the image of him yelling at that poor waitress out of my head.  Its only a matter of time before I start being the victim of his angry tirades.

Now it just comes down to how to end it.  I am notoriously HORRIBLE at breaking up with someone but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.  I really should just do it face to face but I’m a little scared.  What if he freaks out on me?  Maybe I’ll write him an email?  I’ll keep you posted on what happens.

John goes shopping. With me!

20 Oct

My hot date with John went well – there was kissing ;-) . What bothers me is that he is probably a “player”. Anyway, he took me shopping and I can’t hide that I was exited about that!

He was at my place around 2 in a cool AUDI which I think was rented, though. He looked good, casual summer suit with a pink shirt – I have a thing for that. He got an honest hello hug and then I jumped in the AUDI, ready to roll. No fooling around, he took me directly to all the expensive shops, not bad John, you know what a girl wants. I just had this huge smile on my whole face all time. We parked and then we started our shopping madness. I’m not lying but whenever we got into a new store he casually said “ just get whatever you think is nice”.

I had to ask twice to be sure he wasn’t kidding – imagine if I had heard the wrong words.

I went straight for handbags and got a cool Gucci jacket – you girls know how much they normally are. Then we turned to D&G and I threw on a couple of amazing outfits – for him.

He seriously loved them on me! I know because he bought them all, serious – ALL of them! I couldn’t help seeing him pay with a black AMEX which doesn’t give him any minus points… We went to LV and he actually got me another bag, I’m not kidding. Totally he probably dropped around $5,000 just like that. I joked that I needed a bag for all those bags!

After some killer shopping we had a nice lunch. We were joking and he said he liked me a lot and he didn’t really want to go back to Cali. He wants to fly me out next week so he can show me all the nice places. Sounds interesting – it probably includes more shopping!

Dinner with John. Oh, and he takes me shopping!

18 Oct

Remember some time ago I was writing about someone called John I never managed to see? He is the sales manager of a huge company, who lives in California. He came to town just to see me for a few days not long ago! So, the plan was to grab some food and a movie – and obviously with dinner first on the plate!

As always I was a liiiitle late… So I hurried in to the restaurant and the hostess helped my find the table and more importantly, my man John. Eye contact and I just knew it was him. He got up and gave me a big hug and said, “Miss, you’re even prettier than I was hoping for.”

Honestly I though he was a little too smart at the time. He was good looking, very tall, blond hair, actually had a piercing piercing. We started with the usual small talk that everyone does?

I realized that he was flirting very hard with me. Don’t get me wrong, I like that! But it is also an indication that he is seing more girls than just me. I do not like to share my dates as you know!

My experince is that really attractive guys will have different women in different cities.

Now, best thing is we made plans for the next day to go shopping – my favorite. I told him that my credit card was stolen and that I will have to wait for weeks before another one arrives. Little lie!

Before I even finished he said “hey, don’t worry, sometime you won’t have to pay when you’re going out with me.” I could hardly hide my smile!

I actually need new shirts and, okay, possibly a bag too.

Rest of the night was fun but distant, but I remember a kiss at some stage ;-) . I was a little “chocked” because I expected a sleasy kiss. Now, I can’t wait to go shopping with him!

My Big 2nd Date with Mike!

11 Oct

I went out with Mike again last night.  Since this was the second date I let him pick me up at my house.  I spent the whole day cleaning and making sure everything was perfect.  I was pacing around my house like a crazy person when I heard the knock on the door.  No matter how confident I feel or how pretty I look I’m always a little nervous right before a date.  I opened the door and the first thing I saw was the HUGE bouquet of flowers!  They were beautiful!  I had to keep my cool though, I couldn’t let him see how excited I was about the flowers.  I let him inside and put the flowers in a vase in the kitchen.  I said a polite “thank you” and gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

On our way to the restaurant I couldn’t help but notice the way he drove.  Nothing makes me happier than a man that knows how to drive.  He was confident, he drove fast but careful.  He was a total gentleman on our date and even opened my car door.  This date was way more fun than the last because we were flirting like two teenagers all night.  I was whipping out all my favorite girly flirty moves, the hair flipping, batting my eyelashes, giggling and touching his hand every chance I had.  All I kept thinking about was how is this date going to end.  Is he going to kiss me?

The drive home was the hardest.  I was dying of anticipation!  I could feel the butterflies in my stomach going insane and trying to talk was almost impossible.  He walked me to my front door, I gave him a hug and he leaned in for kiss.  I swear I saw the fireworks exploding above our head.  After our very passionate kiss I went inside, closed the door and did the goofiest happy dance ever!  Oh what a perfect second date.  I’ll rate it a 9.5.  I can’t wait to see him again.
